Hey Congress: Which Side Are You On?

The Health Care for America Now! campaign is sending letters and scheduling face-to-face visits with members of Congress to ask them which side they are on: is it the side of quality, affordable health care for all -or- is it the side of leaving every person to buy private insurance on his or her own?

In addition to these visits and letters, we are working to help the HCAN! campaign reach its goal of placing 100,000 constituent calls to members of Congress. It is up to us to ask our representatives in Congress which side they are on, and HCAN! has a free tool that makes it as easy as 1,2,3:

  1. Visit http://www.ccag.net/heycongress
  2. Fill out the form, including your phone number
  3. Click "Call Now!" next to the name of your representative, and you'll be connected to Congress!

Click "read more" to view a guide to the CT Delegation and a link to send this along to your family, friends and neighbors.

Don't know which Congressional Representatives you should call? No problem! Just click here, and when you fill out the information (including your phone number and zip code) you'll be presented with a list of your representatives in Congress. You can call and ask them which side they are on at no cost to you, thanks to the HCAN! Campaign.

It really is that simple. Our calls combined with the letters and in-person visits will send a clear message to Congress that we are paying attention to which side they are on.

Please take a few minutes to get your representatives in Congress on the record. The bottom line is that these elected officials are accountable to you. If you call, they will listen. After you've made the call, be sure to pass this on to your family, friends, and neighbors.
